Government of India has an online Grievance forum at

The government wants people to use this tool to highlight the problems they faced while dealing with Government officials or departments like Passport Office, Electricity board, BSNL/MTNL, Railways etc.

I know many people will say that these things don’t work in India , but there is no harm in giving a try in case you have a problem, right?

So use this grievance forum and educate others who don’t know about this facility.

This way we can at least raise our concerns instead of just talking about the ‘System’ in India . Invite your friends to contribute for many such happenings.

    Dear Sir,
    My grievance related to Payment of compensation of Rs. 35000/- due to late delivery of refrigerator & late replacement of broken vegetable tray etc. (vide complaint no. 253200621975, dated 25.03.08 & 704200721975 dated 07.04.08) has not settled in spite of my repeated request to your several officials but nobody are taking it seriously. It seems that the customer’s grievances are not being given any priority and being overlooked from all of your concern officials which is self – explanatory as per the recordable communication through e-mail ( my Husband’s ID), as below:

    In spite of the above communications nobody from LG Electronics within India OR from Korea has initiated for fruitful solution to sort-out the issues, It is my patient to follow-up with all the concern persons through mobile phone and through Email i.e. Sh Sumit Bajaj (9873009497), Sh. Bhatiaji (9873006387), Md. Aseem Khan, LG Customer care, Head office, Greater Noida (01202560900) and Dealer’s Rep Sh. Gunjan (9811209640) from last two weeks and the final result is humiliation of myself. All the above Officers are with the dealer M/s Jeevan Jee Refrigerators, at Lajpat Nagar-II, New Delhi, and nobody is interested to listen from my side that how much trouble I have faced from last one month due to late delivery of refrigerator on 27.03.08 in place of 12.03.08, Breakage of Kangaroo tray (Veg. tray) & non replacement of the same till 25.04.08 and delivery of items vide invoice dated 09.03.08 in place of 27.03.08.

    I have also paid an amount of 14000/- through the said cheque (given by my family on 27.03.08 without my knowledge) as balance payment, due to pressure of payment by the Dealer, but my grievance related to compensation had not been settled till date. It seems that nobody is interested to replace the same & understand the real facts, may be all the concern officers of your company are guided by the dealer because they are much interested for dealer’s part. I have also given many noticed to the concern officials of LG Services all over the world.

    You are requested to settle the same at the earliest.

    I have lodged a complaint (C1053118057) with LG for following matter.
    I purchased a washing machine from LG Dealer on 30th May which didn’t work at all. They sent a surveyor who found some problem with power system and as such I asked to replace the product. They said it will be done soon. After this there was no call from LG. Whenever I tried to call, either the phone was off or it was never picked up. I found contact of call centre from web and called them and some how, after 10 days, reached the concerned person who said the product is not in stock and so select a different one. I selected new one which was to be shipped in a day or two. But again there was a break. When I contacted the person he said the new product has a dent(as if they had only one). He promised to send a new one in two days time but again no call for 5 days. When I called (17th day) the person said I will call back in morning. There was no call and when I called he doesn’t pick up the phone.
